New Study Finds Online Therapy is Effective in Treating Depression
According to UK study, online Cognitve Behavioral Therapy (CBT) were two-and-a-half times more likely recover from their mental health problems and may offer to alternative growing problem. Patients aged from 18 to 70s were tested to the said therapy and found out effective.
"Cognitive Behavioral Therapy seems to be effective when delivered online in real time by a therapist, with benefits maintained over eight months. This method delivery could broaden access to CBT in primary care, " Dr Kessler said.
It is good to know that having this online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy could treat pschological treatment like depression even to those countries where psychological treatment is not readily available.
